Industry Solutions
Simco-ION provides many solutions for industrial processes, to optimize process speed, yield and quality. Solutions are divided in 4 categories:
Use static electricity to temporarily bond two materials together
Clean a surface, remove particles
Detect perforations in plastic products
Static electricity is a hidden challenge across many industries. It arises when materials contact and separate, leaving behind electrical charges that can disrupt production, attract dust, cause material misfeeds, or even create dangerous sparks. Left uncontrolled, static threatens product quality, worker safety, and operational efficiency.
Industries such as automotive, packaging, printing, pharmaceuticals, wood, converting, textiles, and plastics all face these risks in different ways. In automotive production, static can compromise painting and assembly. In packaging and printing, it leads to sticking films, misfeeds, and reduced print quality. Pharmaceuticals face contamination and filling issues, while wood, textile, and plastics operations struggle with dust attraction, fiber tangling, or poor surface quality. The result is costly downtime and inconsistent results.
Simco-ION delivers solutions to eliminate these problems. Our ionizing systems neutralize charges on materials, air blowers and nozzles reach complex surfaces, and monitoring systems provide real-time control. For processes that require it, charging generators allow static to be applied in a controlled way, such as in temporary bonding during packaging or converting. By implementing these technologies, manufacturers gain higher product quality, safer workplaces, and more efficient operations.
